Auto light cycle switch?

Quick question, is it gonna stress my auto flowers that are 2 weeks from seed to switch from 12/12 to 18/6 at this stage of their life? I know they aren’t photoperiod dependent but I didn’t know if it would be a stressful change that could trigger them to flower or not. I now have my 2×4 ready to go again and wanted to get some input. I don’t have too much experience with autos.

Youll be fine. The plants will take off with the extra light. Just check PPFD to make sure you dont cook them.

This varies constantly. Many factors determine stress and stages to. I can make an auto flower within 2 weeks, i have had them veg for more than 2 months. Most are about this guide though.
