How do you clean your hydroton for reuse? Hot water, h2o2, vinegar, dish soap? 👈 A few recommendations I found online. What’s the best practice?

Wash with plain water, but don’t use on top of plants a second time. Used clay pellets become my bottom-of-pot drainage aid.

    Good Luck!

Repeatedly rinse them when your done, rinse them again. In the past I have used bleach but since it leaves a residue I have switched to H2O2. Oh and did I mention rinse them again lol. Having used bleach for so long is probably why I’m in such a habit of rinsing the hell outta them.

Citric acid mixed with H2O2/water will dissolve salts.
