    Wazz up DGC🤙

I’m growing for almost a year now and that’s also how long my carbon filter is doing it’s job. I don’t smell a difference yet. But I have a feeling this will change soon.

How long are you guys running your carbon filters before exchanging?

6 months to be ultra safe. A year under normal use. Wash the outer filter monthly.

I agree with Mystro if in Prohibition Land, otherwise I would wait for the smell and just have the replacement on hand already. I dig on https://acinfinity.com/carbon-filters/ Code ‘dudegrows’ will save ya some $

Thanks for the link and coupon code, but I need a 125mm (5′), but ac infinity only has 4′ and 6′. 🤷‍♂️

grab the 6″ and buy a 5 to 6″ adapter.

It’s either this, or going to my local grow store and buying the 5″🤷‍♂️🤓

Compare the pricing. It’s quite a bit more surface area on the 6 over the 5. I’d have to run the math but could be worth the extra on a bigger one.

Nice so there is still a use case for them after a year 🤙

I use mine whenever my exhaust fan runs until my house starts smelling like RAW Cannabis.

I’ve used a 6 inch fan (a little overkill, i know) in each of 3 2×4’s for about 18 months now. I change the filter cover every couple weeks and use compressed air & shop vac on it every month. No unwanted smells that the fam can detect so far!

Had mine about 4 years now. I keep the prefilter washed, and blow the filter out between rounds. It still captures odor and lets air through.

I’m on 3 years. But thinking it’s time I update. My wife asked why the house smells like weed a few days ago. Either it’s the carbon filter or someone else is in my house with weed.

@that_shizz_ur_brotha_gaveu I think I will get the filter now, do a better job with maintenance and have it ready whenever I’m smelling something. 🤓

    Don’t think it will be 4 years like <font color=”#0b8e3f”>@Thickems 🙇‍♂️</font>

<font color=”#0b8e3f”>@Angus420 your wife sounds like an angel 💚</font>

I’ve had a couple cheapo filters last me one cycle, and then it gets to the point where my wife gets home and is like, “outside the house smells like a weed factory.” lol in prohibition land I gotta keep it under control, its quite uncomfortable when I open my car door and I smell raw grow😂. That being said this AC Infinity filter is lasting pretty well almost a year now with zero issues. Pre filter washed once a month or more and I’m about to start blowing out the filter itself after every flower cycle to try and prolong it.
