My son was messing with magic
mushrooms.. I told him to save his old coco mix, with the intent of
re-purposing it into my soil mixture. Just because.

This is was the unintended results.. my
soil is full of magic mushroom mycelium now..

The 2 plants that have this, endured my
abuse significantly better than the others. Heath and Yield, water retention…

Has anyone else ever experimented with
anything like this?? Is this a wild way to get some additional Co2 into that
    tent???

Trying to figure out how to fruit
    this as well..

    Please… Questions, comments,
    criticism:

Most likely this is not the same mycelium as the magic mushrooms. To much contaminates to live through on a busted up substrate.

There are many fungi that can create mycelium. Many that dont fruit, many that will overtake the cubensis. Dryness, age, introduced bacterias and spores, the likely hood of this coco recolonizing and refruiting is very low. A lot more can dominate before this can happen. As for growing exactly as AI has said above, not ideal field capacity and balance you would be looking for. Mushroom compost can be a good way to introduce fungi into the media, not so much old used up cakes. If you have the time and space, this can be a fun adventure to see what happens though. To try to fruit the mushrooms i would suggest a mulch layer or casing layer to hold surface moisture, try to keep plant roots low and bottom water. Kinda seperate the 2 enviroments per say.
