What’s up! So, rust colored brown spots on the fan leaves usually come from 1 of 2 things (or a combo of both): 1. Nutrient deficiency or 2. incorrect pH causing nutrient lockout. If the brown spots have a yellow color around it, it points towards a calcium deficiency. If the brown spots follow the viens of the leaf, it’s most likely a magnesium deficiency. When the edges of the fan leaves turn bown/yellow, it can mean a potassium deficiency (or too high ppm). Likewise, if you pH is too far below 5.8 or above 6.4, it can prevent the uptake of any combo of the above mentioned macro nutrients.

Check your Ph first. If it’s off, slowly correct it and reassess. If it’s fine, add 5ml Cal-Mag per gallon of water, 2 times for a week. (Keep an eye on your total ppm). If your issue is caused by a calcium or magnesium deficency, you’ll see improvements in a few days. If you determine that is a potassium deficiency or a pH problem, flush the plant with a few gallons of distilled water ph’d to 6.0. again, you should see improvement in a few days.

Hope this helps. Good Luck! ✌🏻

One more thing….lol. The brown & yellow spots currently on the fan leaves won’t turn green again. They’re there until the end. 😆 Look for formation of additional spots of discoloration on current fan leaves or small spots on newer growth. Once you fix the issues tho, everything else should green up and you should see noticable growth.

Looks like past damage, over watering or ph be my biggest guesses. New growth is slightly wavy, i would go with ph. 5.8 going in, check run off and want balance coming out. What brand coco? This could be a simple media quality issue.

I was thinking coco also, if not prebuffered, could cause calcium issues that shiz was referring to. 👍🏼

Also remember if you’re doing any foliage feeding You do that with the lights off or you’ll get brown spots from the water droplets and the light burning like a magnifying glass,, if your lower leaves are in the dirt or touching the dirt in the beginning, that will leave brown spots too as well. Just reminding to check the boxes

To high intensity can burn, dim light is best. Spray early in day. I have had fan and wind burn more than light. Just like a calm after the thunderstorm, tone it down to spray it.
