Quick dry for dry vape?

    This pertains to drying…

I only dry vape now using the Crafty or the Plenty. In dry, as long as the temp stays near or below 60°F, can I drop the humidity to 35-40% to dry faster without losing terps? I’m not burning the plant material, just vaporizing the trichomes. I don’t care about the hay smell but still want the flavor and effects. Thanks DGC.

i’ve always understood it as the reason for the slow dry is to let the enzymes break down the chloraphile (sp). you need the moisture in the bud to do that. you still need to cure it. dont get me wrong, i smoke bud fresh dried. always better after the process is complete

The more you speed up drying the more chlorphyll you’ll have left.

The hey smell will overwhelm any terps you don;t cook off.

I understand how important those chlorophyll issues are when burning but I’m questioning how important those issues are if I’m not combusting the plant material. I’m only vaporizing the trichomes. Will the moisture content of the bud affect the vaporized trichs? How much does the plant material affect smell and taste? You know, I don’t want bad affects so I can get a good effect. 😊

You will need to know the temperature that chlorophyll vaporizes. If it is still in your bud and your vape reaches the temps to vaporize it, I am guessing it will taste like ass. ✌️

I have been dry vaping for about 5 years now. As long as the bud is DRY It is good to vape. I vape one the high end of the temps

    420-428 Fahrenheit

The taste of freshly dried bud is top notch. No combustion is occurring. Fresher the better for taste when vaping in my humble opinion. I am a Heavy daily vape user.

Hell NO on a quick dry. You will ruin the flower.
