Recharge and SIP

How do y’all with Real Buckets or other SIP systems water in Recharge? I use ACI self-watering pots (for now, at least). I let the bases dry out, and the plants dry back a bit before top watering with Recharge once a week. I water to run off, then fill the bases with my water mixture. Is this SOP?

No need to water till runoff. Just water enough to dose them not drown them. Recharge isn’t something you need to flush with. Think of it as weekly meds.

    Happy growing bro

I just top water it in. Wife got me an ACI auto sprayer. First run I did, but I never let bases go dry now. I keep them full of 6.5ph water from 2 weeks to last days before harvest. My medium stays spongy wet. I know what you’re thinking but the plants don’t care what we think. I run Pro mix but it works great with coco. I use Gia Green amendments, and I top water everything in for several days in a row with no issues. I pull base samples and test PPM, PH but (8-10) week Flowering it hasn’t been a problem. My watering issues have disappeared. No nutrient deficiencies. Several runs in a row with not even a yellow leaf until finish. I just feed the soil the plants feed themselves. Sip buckets are the same principal, but I already have these. My DWC system is still in the box. I’m not saying this is the right way, but it works. A skilled grower with good genetics would get awesome results. There are a few here using them maybe they will weigh in. I have seen top shelf here on those bases.

I usually use recharge until it’s time to turn on the system and start bottom feeding. Usually by them I’m about to go into flower and stop using recharge anyway.

I use it once a week until later flowering (week 6). It just makes the plants look healthier. better leaf color, definitely more turgid and upright. I use 2 gallons for 12 plants, so each one just gets a little.
