    Hey All!!

I hope you all are doing well. So I’ve been growing for a while now. My stuff is usually pretty good. The one thing that I don’t have consistency in is smell. I think it’s because of high temps 80 up to 85 in the summer time. In the fall and winter the smell is better. I’m I gonna have to run an AC in the summer to lock in a great smell?

but once the flower is dried and cured are they both smelling equally or less during summer grow batch ? You might have heat peak higher then 85f have you put a second thermometer in an other area of your grow. Your thermometer does it have a back up of the temp if not i suggest something like this: Inkbird IBS-TH2 Plus Wireless Bluetooth Thermometer Hygrometer, Indoor Outdoor Temperature Humidity Monitor with APP,LED Screen Smart Sensor.

Less during summer 100%. When you grind it up the smell is good but not really when you pop open the jar. I don’t have 2 thermometers in the area. I’m using like one of the ones you get off Amazon. The peak I would say is 87 that’s the highest and that’s on really hot days outside.

heat during mid flowering isn’t a big deal but last weeks it is important to keep temp in check. Usually when too hot it is the opposite when you enter the grow space you should have more smell since terpines are evaporate at a faster rate, plants doesn’t like big swing in temp and humidity. Maybe it is the drying part during summer is the issue. i strongly suggest you to get a humidity/temp monitor that record and keep track of it to inspect the regularity of it.

Cool! I just ordered the one you recommended. What temps should I be shooting for during the final weeks? Is it worth turning my light down to help with temps?

nice i have 3 of those the keep track of humidity and temp every 5min in a log that you can look at on your phone via Bluetooth. The most popular thermometer (accurate) that everyone use only keep the low and high max for the last 15-30min. So these accurate one when you enter the grow space will only give you the max and min temp/humidity for the last 30min. With the one i recommend you, you can pine point issues with temp/humidity
