i have had people say cal-mag and i have had people say it is a PH/lockout issue ecause of salt build up from not watering to runoff. i ran a flush and tested the run off and had the PH come back at 6.7 and the TDS ppm was from 580-750. i have suplimented cal-mag and bat guano tea and the plant is still showing signs of the same decline. it is gorilla szkittles auto and the plant has also slowed down on drinking. i have a slight fungus gnat issue but i would not say it is major. i have not given a heavy feed because i do not want to cause more issues…. but i am clueless and feel like things are getting out of hand quickly. please help. i am useing 3 gal fabric pots fox farm ocean forest with foxfarm ferts and microbes and cal mag. i have not given much food at all the entire grow. leaf tips are curling in like taco and SOME fan leafs are reaching up. * hands up *

Looks like your girl’s showing classic nitrogen deficiency & slight mag issue. Ocean Forest is pretty hot early on, but by mid-grow it’s usually tapped out, especially in a 3 gal pot. That yellowing starting at the bottom and moving up, with lighter veins, screams she’s hungry. Cal-mag alone won’t cover it since it’s mostly Ca and Mg, not NPK.

I’d give a light balanced feed (something around 5-5-5 or whatever you’re using from FoxFarm) and aim for a steady pH around 6.3–6.5 so micros stay available. Don’t overthink the gnats unless they’re getting bad, just let the top inch dry out more. Once she gets a good meal and the soil settles, you should see new growth come in nice and green again. 🫶🏻😶‍🌫️

can be a lot of things, calmag, pk to low, over feeding creating nuts lock out, root issues etc we need more info about it and what did you do last week or so. By the picture i guess you are arround week 4 beginning of week 5 of flow usually plants need a bit of cal mag and pk at this stage to burst out all the fruit. I never in 6 years fed until run off, too messy and pump humidity too high. If you dial in what the plants need at a good ph lvl you shouldn’t need to feed until run off. No big licence producer feed until runoff in any media. It is a thing for people who just start growing to help them figure out what they mess up and/or reinsure them self .

To me ppm seems low for that stage. I would be shooting more 900. Bump up that bloom nutrients see how she feels. And stop the calmag, you are in soil.

Cut out the cal-mag and up your base to 800-900 PPM. Your plant is not lacking calcium or magnesium. It’s getting too much calcium and not enough nitrogen.

So am I interpreting your reply correctly, to say that if we grow in soil, we shouldn’t use cal mag?

Calcium binds to negative charged sites. Soil holds nutrients more than coco. The calcium competes with the same spots basically blocking the other nutrients from moving. Antagonizes. Calmag needs to be used as a buffer for ro water and dwc type situations, not in a media it will build up easily in.

Cannabis thrives under environmental and nutrients being consistently routine. DONT buy a product and add this take that out day to day. K.I.S.S is the method. Keep it simple stupid.
