Heater light in flowering

Hey growmies I’m currently in week 2 of flower and am only able to keep the room heated with this 1500w heater but it puts off a orange/red light while heating. Will this mess up my flowering cycle?

I believe it can, I would try using a ceramic heater or the ac infinity heater.

Good call! Good luck with it all. I have my grow in a garage with a mini split, it’s been cold lately in the northeast Boston area, my electric company is feeding there families with my bill lol

I wouldn’t use that during the dark period. The byproduct of this heat source is light. Anything with a glowing element = light. Oil filled radiant heaters are one of the more efficient no light heat source.

Hopefully 2 weeks of it didn’t mess it up too bad. I would only turn on when needed luckily but I’m using the aci heater now don’t want to risk it thanks

Yes, that light will disturb their dark cycle. Do not run it at night. You really need an oil heater.
