Remember they can stretch 2×3 times after you flip so you need to account for that.
Keep bending them down to fill your canopy then flip.

I use grow dots so that puts me going into flower at about 5 to 6 weeks. I start a clone or seed in a 4 inch pot with 8 grams grow dots. Then they get about 6 inches tall. From there into grow buckets with 65 grams of grow dots. 5 to 6 weeks later they go into the flower tent for 8 to 10 weeks depending on strain.

I don’t perform a hard-flip to flower. I transition my plants by 25 minutes each day from veg to flower and have noticed that there is less plants stress during the transition.

Also, I have over vegg’d many times and have found put that if you cut back you plan to make room for the flower stretch then wait a week or 2, you will endure with some nice nugs. This is because by over vegging you get that massive roots development allowing the plant to absorb more nutrients in flower.

This sounds smart. Im using an analog timer with 1/2hr increments. I could adjust that half hour every day until I reach the 12hr lighting.

It normally take the plant about that amount of time to start showing flowers.
