I’m new here and excited to be part of the DGC community.
I’ve tried growing a few times but haven’t had much luck producing quality buds yet. For my next grow, I’m planning to use the Growers 70/30 Coco-Perlite Blend, along with Grow Dots, Recharge, and Silica. I’ll be running it in a 4×2 tent with a Spider Farmer self-watering system and a 50L reservoir.
A few questions I’d really appreciate some help with:

Since I’m using 70/30 coco-perlite, do I need to supplement with Cal-Mag in addition to the Grow Dots?

I use city water, which contains about 33 mg/L of calcium and 12 mg/L of magnesium (from what I understand, mg/L is roughly equal to PPM).

Should I be top-watering the Recharge, Silica, and possibly Cal-Mag? Or is there a way to run those through the 50L reservoir?

Never supplement elements that are not actively showing a deficiency. Too much of any one element is worse than not enough.

Does it matter for putting recharge in the res?

Never store Recharge in a reservoir. Mix the solution and use it right away. Soil microbes won’t live in water long.
