Nutrients

I have narrowed down my nutrients to 3 possible choices. No particular order.

    Gaia Green 2 part dry

    General Hydroponics 3 part liquid

    Strive 2 part dry

Growing in a 2×7 closet. Need to remove the shelf so I can raise the light higher. Ceiling in the closet is 9 or 10 ft. Have not measured it but it’s definitely higher than the main room which is 8 feet. I have 2 of these closests in the room.

Mr. Canucks grow on YouTube has a similar closet. He uses the Gaia Green. There’s another channel that grows a bunch of autos in solo cups and gets 4+ Oz per plant and he uses the General Hydroponics 3 part. Someone in a Facebook group recommended Strive.

    What do you guys recommend?

Green magic gardening is the channel with the solo cups.

Can confirm. I can also confirm the following method works wonders – 20oz solo cup with base holes, whatever medium you want, grow dots and recharge. I grew two honestly massive solo cup autos doing that. I set the cups in plastic takeout trays and just bottom watered. Recharge once in a while. Ribby has some good tips for size control for sure and other feeding forms.

Awesome. My 1st auto seeds should arrive this week. You did the GH 3 part as well? Do you think there would be any benefit to using something slightly larger than a solo cup? I really appreciate all the replies.

I’ve been using GH Flora 3-part for 7-8 months now and my only complaint is that I didn’t get the gallon jugs. I’m not saying it’s better than the others, I haven’t used either, just saying it works great for me. I’m using GH in soil and DWC. I actually just ran out after a res change on Thursday and ordered more, it’ll be here tomorrow. 🙂

Nice. Not really looking for one is better than the other. Just curious what’s working. Initially I was just going to go with the ph perfect line. After watching some of the YouTube grows, I narrowed it down to these. Even before that I was going to use the nukeheads line of uranium and plutonium. They are discontinuing them. My first grow attempt was with those and it was going really well. I think I stressed them and made them turn male. The stalks were huge and the leaves and stems were super frosty. I didn’t have any air circulation humidity or temperature control, or anything. Threw out 7 giant plants and gave up. Have most of my equipment still and decided to try again.

I enjoy DYI’ing copies of the bottled nutrients. For example, my hack for phDown is 2 cups of food grade phosphoric acid, 7 ounces monoammonium phosphate into 1 gallon of bulk white vinegar.

You will have enough solution to adjust alkaline water for a long time.

    ASIN numbers: B06Y1B82TG & B072R4M4QN

    Good Luck!

PS: I can’t recommend this to anyone growing organically.

I start with super soil, “Ocean Forrest” was my first choice as it was available. I’ve migrated over the grows to a base of Build a soil 3.0. After 3 or 4 grows, (reammending of course) I retire my soil to my oitdoor veggie and herb garden. I grow in super soil/living soil.

I use strive along with recharge and have had AMAZING results with it. It’s easy to use and their customer service is on point. Daniel Clark from Strive stays in contact always asks for pictures answers questions.
