Some are for sure. If you shop on Amazon, you can compare decibel levels from fan to fan. I had to do that because I have hearing loss, and tinnitus, so I have to be SUPER careful preserving the hearing I have left.

ACI 4” inline w/contoller 69 pro, 2-S6 auto circulation fans (BADASS BTW), it’s quieter than my Vevor 6” inline. You won’t regret a penny of your purchases.

I may be taking a short cut but I use iPower 8 Inch 420 CFM Inline Duct Vent Blower with a $10 adjustable power controller for fan speed. Under $40 for both.
