Hey guys this is my first plant ever growing here. It had bad root rot early in veg so I’m sure it’s stunted but I wanted to grow it out since it’s my first time. it’s a mimosa x orange punch autoflower. I know the leaves look bad I’m just not sure if it’s from root rot forever ago or other reasons.

Looks like you are running DWC, it could be an algae issue as well if the light can see the water.

Your plant doesn’t scream root rot or major deficiencies.

It does not get too much light other than when I am checking ph ec ppm but I will still keep an eye out for it thank you!

It doesn’t look like it was missing much. Keeping your water temp low could have been your problem. See if this cooler season helps. Being a photo, DO NOT flip to flower until she is healthy. It is worth the wait every time to flower a healthy plant

I’ve been running this one a while now. They look ok to me. My shaders will yellow a little early sometimes. You definitely want to keep up on defoliating and thinning it out some. It helps limit the popcorn buds and increases the air flow. It’s so branchy I’ll alternate cutting branches in training. In veg my light is high I’m trying to get as much strech as possible in flower there isn’t much stretch if any.

The middle one has started yellowing here. Needed some water here too lol but she’s about 35 days in flower. The other two have been in about a week. I have three to defoliate the other has been done. Hope it helps it’s some great medicine for sure.

I was afraid to defoliate or lolipop right now. Is it too late into flower to do this?

How far along is she? I try to do my last defoliation by the second week in flower.

It doesn’t look that bad. If it’s continuing to grow fan leaves with only 3 blades like that, there’s still an issue going on though. They’ll do that when there’s some sort of stress or problem happening but then go back to normal leaves with 5-7+ blades once the problem is resolved. If it’s not getting worse then I’d just ride it out.

I just tried DWC for the first time but it didn’t go well. Root rot very early on from high water temp and I probably stunted it with frozen bottles of water trying to correct the temps. The first time I’ve had to kill one of my plants and I hated so much to do it. I always finish out a plant no matter what happens to it but I’ve found DWC is just a little too much for me at the moment.

It could definitely use a good defoliation though but if it’s still stressing than go easy.
