I’ve just wondering on the smell of a whole grow 6, 12 plants or more.

Yes that does reek but 4 heavy cloned mother plants. They will stretch in flower bur will still be a few feet tall. How bad is that going to smell. Good wind around here

The further away it gets, the less it will smell.

100 percent depends on the strain and even the phenotypes. I have a cut of Royal cookies that is extremely smelly. Like down the block smelly, not even exaggerating. If you need to be more stealthy there are strains that aren’t so smelly or smell like other things. Blueberry. Some orange plants. I can’t think of the one bred to not smell but there is a known low oder strain as well.

I had 14 plants from bag seeds in my back yard last year. We live on a half acre plot and the entire backyard area was pretty smelly. I had 4 out there this year and I couldn’t smell them unless I was right there with them.

The smell will be noticeable. How far away…that depends. Last year I grew 4 plants in 15g pots next to my deck. It was VERY noticeable. My neighbor (who we’ve had issues with in the past) definitely wasn’t pleased. As a way of ever so slightly smoothing things over I set up a greenhouse for this past season.

Despite my best efforts those girls over grew the greenhouse vertically. I popped out the roof panels and let them live their best life. This year I ran 6 (legal limit here). Also worth noting the greenhouse was set farther back in the yard. Seemed to help because the smell was far less noticeable this year. I mean, you could still get whiffs of it from the street on occasion but it wasn’t as overpowering as last season.
