Root rot?

Is this slimy mess root rot? First grow here. I feel like my root development isn’t very good for the size of the plant either. Below 70f water temp, ec .6 ppm 300 ph 6ish. If this is root rot how can I get rid of it?

Hi, when I was doing hydro and deep water this happened to me. I took a cutting from the plant before it got any worse, then I made another bucket of water that was room temp, ph’d, plain water. I got what orange gunk I could by blotting with a paper towel. I put the plant in the new bucket and scrubbed the old one well. I repeated this a couple times, minus the cutting, and the plant survived but never to its potential. The cutting I took grew normal in soil later.

Don’t be afraid to trim those.

I agree, if they are gone, they are gone, more will come.

Should I just cut the slimy orange parts out?

Soak them in 3% hydrogen peroxide at a 2:1 water/peroxide for about an hour. Then apply Recharge after the reset.

If it’s an auto it’s toast. if it’s a photo you can save it, but it will take a long time to recover, and may not reach it’s full potential. Fix your mistake and start over would be my action.
