Too hot 🔥🥵

    Week 6 flower

I am fighting high temps running 75 to low 80s with light on humidity 63% down to 61% with light off I am running 70 to 75 and same humidity. Now I can cut my dehumidifier bring my light on temps down to the 75 if not a little lower. However my humidity will be 70 to 80%

So while I’m going through this, should I have higher humidity, lower heat or lower humidity higher heat just until I can get some stable weather.

im in sw ohio and we have had a heat wave for a while , but every year some sort of bullshit like this,

ive learned over the years that the plants kinda like the environment that we like.

so we keep (my wife) the house around 70 to 72 , i tapped into my hvac duct and run direct into tents and let my fans and meters do the work.

the ac keeps humidity down and the fans (intake and exhaust) only run when they need to

Yeah I really like this. I’m getting ready to purchase a portable AC. I’m going to tap that straight in by building a box around it and then run a power outlet that connects to my AC Infinity controller to kick it on and off

Higher temps demand higher humidity, as seen in this VPD chart.

I’m in my basement when it gets to hot i use a 12.000 btu portable ac and vent it out the window with fans to push it around. also i will lower my lights from 70% to 60% little less ppfd, little less heat in my tent.

Funny thing is, my basement is only part of the house still cool, because my furnace circuit board burnt up. So no fan whatsoever froze my ac. Getting replaced today, but if it wasnt for the basement, i would have been screwed.

Most definitely so this was all very good. I’m running my dehumidifier way too hard bringing up that heat in the small space that I have for what I call a basement.. I appreciate all the response. I am Southwest Minnesota right by the Iowa border. We’ve been having a lot of rain and hot days so everything’s just been spiking and going crazy. Especially what was a cool basement that I could control humidity in now is a hot basement with tons of humidity. I will be investing in a AC unit after this to plumb right into the tent running off of a AC Infiniti outlet hooked to my controller. Thank you dgc! You guys are awesome!
