This plant is 3 weeks old from seed.the shell got stuck when poped up. Put a drop of water on it and it released. Had moisture on leaves now growing weird. Any ideas?

Leaf deformities are typically caused by stressed/damaged roots from pH and/or over/under-watering. This is assuming it’s not some form of variegation.

Seems like my other 1 is drinking more. Same soil worm castings and pearlite. I will try n let her dry out but dont want to dry too much. Any ideas how i could fix this issue? To late for me to start another so i want to grow it out. Running at .8vpd watering with aerated tap water that is around 50ppm

I used to see that a lot when popping large numbers of seeds in soil back in the day (before there was online help). I figured out overtime that it was just the nutrients in the soil being too hot for babies…

Shes got roots coming out of cup now. Not as many as my other. But im lettin her dry out a bit. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the replys

you have to make sure you keep the water ratio in balance with the nutrients.
