Off the top of my head…Longmont is just south of the Vermillion location. There is a bit of a nightlife in the downtown area specifically the 700 block and down of Main St. Many restaurants…I suggest using your phone and Google maps to find them…one of my favorites is Aunt Alice’s Restaurant. Oh and the kite shots…were there kites…anyway something outdoorsy…NOAA grounds. Possibly the shots on the football goalposts were filmed at the stadium Deion Sanders coaches…not 100% on that.

I just hope I find everything okay. I barely have to deal much as far as roads go. I Live in a town that doesn’t even have s traffic light.
We do have a stop sign though.

There’s a shuttle from DIA to Longmont. A bit pricey but way cheaper than the Uber quote of $240 one way. Black Eight offers round trip of 130ish. So check their website they’ll take you right to your hotel.

Or maybe you can take a one way to Longmont and work out a deal with another cup attendee. I’d be on rides but I don’t own a car or a drivers license.

My apologies…it’s called Eight Black Airport Shuttle. I’m seeing $59 one way. They have a website…where you can book your ride.

I’ve used this Groome Transport company for get rides from the airport to fortcollins / loveland. Its very convenient and is only like 35$ each way. Might be a good option to consider. I’ve used them many times over the years on several cup trips and it always worked out well

DGC Cup a week agoI’m pretty excited. I bought my tickets to the cup. I’ve barely been outta the Upper Peninusla my whole adult life unless it was for hospital appointments. I never could take s vacation because I used my days oh for hospital stuff.

@duckfloyd you picked one picturesque place as you’ll be around 5 miles from the mountains.
I lived in Madison Wisconsin for 60 years so I know it’s gotten stricter. Also kudos to you for recognizing your limits.

I know where you’re coming from ummm….I’m assuming Floyd? I was in your shoes a few years back and one must do social things like this to become social. If that makes any sense?
Anywho…for sure mingle, most normal people are a little shy at first..find a friendly face and say howdy.

Everyone is so friendly, I went solo last year, met people there, hotel, super cool atmosphere,, see ya there. Plenty of bud to go around for sure

I just told people I was an introvert and shy and to feel free to start a conversation. Ended up hanging with all kinds of cool folks. I’m always solo, so I just look for other solo folks looking as uncomfortable as I feel, then strike up a convo. I think I met @mopartech as well. I’ll be rocking irie gear on Saturday, so look for me.

DGC Cup 3 weeks agoI wish I could go the family made plans to come to Longmont we stayed at econlodge there couple almost 3 years ago for a few months but we couldn’t make it work out there to live but next year I’m planning for it when the deets come out. Reason why is fiance manager at a restaurant can’t get time off
