How long should I let this go until I put it in substrate? That last area at the bottom is the only area not colonized yet, at least along the outside it is. It’s been 16 days. This is my first time doing this.

I’d give it a few days – week after 100% colonization of the bottom…

Its ready for spawn to bulk substrate, nice work

As kusie said. Let it fully colonize. Once it colonizes it creates its own immunity. If not colonized and mixed it will feed contamination. You want each grain fully covered. I let me spawn go a week longer to be sure its colonized all the way through.

I’ll wait til it’s all covered plus a few more days. Thanks yall

Conditions were absolutely perfect today for mushroom hunting and man. Did we find a lot of different varieties. Had to have my buddy dangling by a rope to get to the good ones lol!!!
