    Found these growing in the garden and lawn. Any idea? Are they edible? Multiple clumps/groups of them scattered around.

    A large Oak tree was removed from that area 3 yrs ago.

    I’m living on the west coast, at the 49th parallel.

    Check for traits related to Armillaria. Not recommended anymore.
