DIY Drying Tent
Thought I’d share my drying tent that I came up with in case any others need to perform this function outside their grow tent(s). Tent is a 2x2x4 cheap $40 amazon special….with a ac infinity 4′ exhaust , a small fan up top to disperse any humidity im adding to stay near 60% , a ac infinity t3 humidifier not being used from another tent, temp/rh probe and a controller 69pro. In the center is a hanging disco ball spinner running at 5rpm , 1 direction one day , another direction the next. That in turn is spinning a set of sock drying racks made of stainless.

Almost identical set up here. I’m using an older 69 w/o WiFi. I have an AC Infinitiy cpu cooling fan “adhered” to a 4” inlet hose that pulls cool lung room air in and has helped me keep temps down too. 🤘🏼

Had to look that up!🤣 Essentially the same thing. I used foil tape and secured the fan to the end of the hose, inside a modified square Tupperware container the same size, to give it some stability and not look so jankey. That pulls in cool air and the exhaust fan keeps it flowing too. Seeing that Peltier idea has me thinking I should figure out a manifold and 6” fan in conjunction to pull heat directly on top of my light drivers in all four tents and push the exhaust through a carbon filter into my lung room! The room AC would more than compensate for the minute increase in heat and a common fan on 2-3 would pull heat from them all without changing the environment too greatly. I’m pushing 80° during flower in my 3×3 with a 400w panel light and I’m worried about gassing off terms in the next run I have flipping in a few weeks. It’ll be worse by July 1. Hmmmm. Extruded Aluminum heat sinks are CHEAP! Wow!! S1 fans are too… I’m headed to Amazon and the drawing board!
That Bluetooth 69 may have found a new life!! Killer!!

I use a 2×4 tent with a homemade PVC rack with expandable window screens I lay my buds/branches on. Works like a charm (with fans and exhaust).

A long time ago, I built this Oak table from a giant tree stump. It used to be my living room table, but now i live in a studio and don’t have a living room. I decided to repurpose it and put it on stilts to make it comfortable to use while standing and underneath, I put eclipse curtains and some string and turned it into a drying/ seed starting tent. It worked really well until I was able to get the Cannatrol. Now I use the space underneath for storage. But MAN, did it serve it’s purpose for these years.
