Hardening off / light burned my moms
In the old days, the fear of hardening off your cutting was implanted in us. Last night, my first clone in decades had roots growing out the top of the cube. Only ten days after the fact. Dang I love that clonex stuff. So after seeing the roots, I checked the whole trap and yup, they all rooted. So I transplanted all into solo cups and put them back into the humidity dome. But one of the center cuts was a little to long. Too big for the dome in the cup.
So, last night, I became a baby sitter.
Walked around with this future1 clone with me. Giving it a most once in a while. Sat outback, little mist here, a little there but never cuz it looked like it needed it.
In fact. It never looked like it needed it. So, my thinking is, no needing the tender foot treatment when roots are showing.
Then I got the bright idea to plug in the Mars hydro I picked up used. Been running t-5’s on on and seeds & clones. They love the lights. But then I start thinking about faster growth, more clones, greedy greedy.
Thru up the Mars and bam light burn started showing. Freaking to much to fast.
Didn’t need to harden off the clones after roots showed but guess the mom’s need hardening off for stronger light.

2 had trouble 2 did not
Dos Is Dos and Jokerz didn’t like the light increase.
