Possible Deficiencies?

    Hello Growmies,

Looking for some help here as a newbie. I have some older leaves yellowing and getting brown spots, so it appears I might have a deficiency, but I am surprised since I was using grow dots and recharge. Last grow went pretty well so I am not sure about this one. Using pro mix, worm castings, and gd and recharge as previously stated. Do I need to add something else? Looks like possible cal-mag or k deficiency from charts but didn’t think I would need to add anything else using GD.

    Thanks in advance!

I was having a similar issue also using grow dots and recharge the ph I was watering with was 6.5 but when I got a soil tester the soil PH was about 7.4 so I lowered the ph to 5.3 and within a week my soil ph is 6.3 and I’m no longer seeing those same deficiencies you are having

I am having the exact same issue. I wasn’t PH’ing my recharge. I hope that turns out to be my issue. Thanks!

Unless your pH is ridiculously alkaline or acidic, the microbes will be fine. They’re soil microbes, not water microbes. Don’t leave them in water. Mix and use right away. The small volume used of Recharge solution is not going to change the pH of your media.

NEVER post pictures of just leaves. There is no context. We need to see the plant and where the issue is on the plant. Random damaged leaves say nothing.

Sorry bout the leaf photo as I was not aware. Hopefully, this photo is better! Just learning this stuff but trying to get better each grow. Not disappointed in my first round but didn’t encounter this problem.
