Never grown or tried Chiltipins, how is the flavor? What do you use them for?

@Dude Their way hotter than a jalepeno. Chiltepin chiles have a SHU of 50,000-100,000. Small round berries that will turn red. red ones have a little sweetness to them. The heat doesn’t linger, it comes on sharp then fades.

I use them for cooking, hot sauce, and fresh salsa. Throw a couple in any dish to spice it up. Real good in chilli, pasta.sauce.

They grow wild in some areas.

Asparagus… grows naturally around here in southeast illinois. Got a few patches in the yard, and have transplanted some from the ditches, too. Started some of them from dry crowns. Getting good seed production from some of them.

    Rock on growmies!! 🤘

It’s a hell of a list… I air layer peach, cherry, apple and flowering crab trees that will grow up here in the tundra and make them available to folks at a very reasonable price. Tons of lilies, clamatis, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and an abundance of other fruits and vegetables. I feed a family of five out of the garden and that includes a 16 year old that is 6’5″ and 240#! There’s shit planted everywhere in the house. Plumeria in the bathrooms and lions mane in boxes all over the basement.

    Microgreens all over too.

    ALWAYS BE HARVESTING!!
