40% THC Strains..?
I’m growing Animal Face highest I’ve heard about is it hitting 40% THC. What other strains are 40%ers?

I’ve seen a review of this strain.. 40% thca and 4.9% other cannabinoids..
Other reviews are 37.7%, 36% thca so 40% seems obtainable…?

If it were 40% thc, it would leave absolutely no room for other canabanoids. That seems like a bit of a stretch.

I have several choices in high 20’s and low 30’s. If I want the strongest buzz I go with my 12%.

Blimburn has a strain called fat bastard. They state 38%. I can say thats close. I’ve unsuccessfully tried to prove them wrong a couple of times. Goldmember x Monkey Spunk. I believe Monkey Spunk won DGC24

Hell, i dont even believe it when i get COAs back at 30% plus. THC percentage is a scam IMO and doesn’t even necessarily correlate to perceived potency, liquid chromatography is not hard to fudge and labs want to get you the best results they can. Shopping labs IS a thing,
That said, in a commercial grow it matters allot, but that is only because the market is not properly educated IMO. Unfortunately that is a losing battle in the current cana climate. I never chase percentages in a private grow, i prefer to grow things i love the flavor of and have a very strong enjoyable high/stone.
But what do i know? I’m just a dumb stoner with opinions
. I just like talking about this stuff.Something to consider though… good bubble, with NO discernable plant matter generally tests between 40-60%, and all those stalks, cuticles, and lipids watering down those numbers are on the plant too… along with the carbon (plant matter).

I usually only smoke concentrates live resin or live rosin This stuff even hits me hard. I thought it was one of those phenomenons where you think the weed you grew is one of the best around… Lol.. But it actually is I guess..

I wouldnt believe any of the dispensary labels. Claiming high thc reminds me of seeing “worlds best coffee” at every border

No strains are 40% THC. That’s all BS. Most testing is at least +/- at least 10%, if not a lot more. Most of these companies juat keep getting samples tested til they get the results they are looking for.

Cool, just watching the episode.. I’ve shared my Animal Face with a few others.. they have the same conclusion that I do… It’s better than any dispo weed they’ve ever had. When I first smoked it. It was almost a physicodelic effect.. and I smoke live resin or rosin 90% of the time.. light it it and white rabbit starts playing in your head…
My grow environment probably isn’t exactly on point so I’m not hitting 40% but with all the weed I’ve smoked in 40 years of smoking this Animal Face checks all the boxes… Tastes great, nice clean ash, sticky iky buds, looks fantastic, one thing I’ve noticed when you smoke it your not looking at smoking again for a couple of hours, so that tells me quite a bit. I can hit rosin/resin once an hour or hour and a half.. I’d take cuttings next time I regen if anyone in Canada wants to try this strain. I’d like to get someone else’s finished product to try just to see how the variance in environments affects the grow. See if someone more experienced can get more out of this strain…
I met a guy who did product testing for commercial cannabis and he claims he has seen OG blueberry at 34%. Which I had the pleasure of smoking. Absolutely fantastic strain. Side by side this animal face seems stronger than that, so I’m thinking the close to 40% seems about right. I have a buddy that is growing “Bob” strain that claims he’s hitting over 40%…!
