Are You Satisfied With Your Current Genetics?

I do find myself holding on to one’s l like. An due to plant restrictions I end up cloning them and limit myself on being able to try new strains. So far I have passed cuts to friends to try and preserve them before I let it go entirely. Also, keeping a strain going multiple runs. Really dials in the needs of that plant as you learn it’s grow preferences. To answer your question. I don’t think we can ever really be satisfied with our genetics. When we know better things are possible, but only if we try and make it so.

Loving running the Z Pie and just popped a couple Georgia Pie S1 right now but I’ve been accumulating some other things……gotta say listening to episodes of “Know Your Breeder” have had a bit of an influence on me. Keep ‘em coming!

I’m a grower, there’s always something I could do better.

I run 2 bagseed finds, 1 from Skywalker OG that came here from swerve w/cali connection in the 00’s. Held that cut for 10+ years. Currently doing a breeding project with its bagseed to preserve the flavor in seed form.

The other is from dispo bagseed from a plant called Susie’s Closet. Does great outside, low odor, but big flavor. Super frosty, and hard to distinguish indoor from outdoor grown.

I like to keep 2-4 plants in rotation for variety. I like 8-9 week plants. Flavor and effect are my major “boxes” that get checked. I’ll tolerate low yields and funky structure because those are things I can manage.

I also like to keep plants around for a while and play with how I grow them.

OG’s I like to run salts and coco, hash plants in soil. Sip, DWC, or smart pots are my methods.

I like cracking seeds for the surprise at the end. Keeps it interesting
