I want to plant some auto seeds I got from the cup my question is do I run them under my dogshit veg light at 18 hours or my respectable flower lamp se7000 at 12 hours? I can’t flip the flower to 18 hours bc i have photos in flower under that light? My veg light is a garbage sayphon 270 watt? Gimme some comments lemme know your opinions!!!

I would start them under the veg light with 18 hours of light and then when they start to flower move them under the better light and they will be fine as long as they don’t start flowering early on and stay small you’ll have a nice size plant going into the flowering stage under the 12-12 light they will flower fine!

Yes just do be surprised that they don’t meet your expectations. Autos can run 24/7, I do give mine a rest during peak power hours to give my wallet a break so I run 21/3 full spectrum light EVO6 from AC Infinity. Expect them to stretch again in early flower. I run autos exclusively. Auto’s are not super picky about light. I have ran mine from the start at 18/6 and they do great.

If your photos are within 2 weeks of finishing when you want to move the autos in you could go rasta jeff with it and put them back on 18/6 schedule.

I have done this with photos, works great for adding bulk I have never had issues. Of course this was also with his stable genetics so take it for what it is.

Get that Photone app and use whatever shitty light you like. I think you will be surprised at how little power is needed to hit a DLI of 45 (that’s the max you will want without CO2 supplementation). if you are willing to monitor your grow often and alter the light height, you can push some crazy results.

Autos don’t require a change in the light cycle. No 12/12.

I run alot of autos 18/6. Yea I’d do your veg light first then about 4-5 weeks in switch to your flower light. 420 fast bud is the boss

I’ve only had experience with 1 auto strain. They are helpful in so many ways. About to start a couple different types here in a bit. Think I may have killed my kush plant. Just gonna leave it in its pot and hope for a Halloween miracle🤧

I run autos in the corners of several of my tents. I get a better yield under 100w at 18/6 than I do under 300w at 12/12.

I’ve run autos all 3 ways. 24 hour just sucked the wallet. I didn’t notice any benefits. 12/12 just slows them down lower yield. I even tried 20/4 they did ok.

18/6 for me is the sweet spot. Good genetics makes a difference. Training lst, gives ya good yields. On average I’ll pull 6oz+. I run dwc
