Hey all, Just wanted to share an observation i had while cloning.

I took 12 cuttings from momma. After a week, 6 of them had some roots, after 2weeks another couple had rooted. after about 18/19 days I investigated the rest. a couple had black stems and were rotting, but the other two had large callus built up around the cut, no roots to be seen. just a large knuckled callus. They all looked healthy enough above soil level. Just as nice as the ones that rooted.

I thought this was interesting and wanted to share. Unfortunately, no pictures were taken of it.

Has anyone experienced this callus formation before?

I offered them to the compost gods.
