Hello from probation land.

I have a girl very close to finishing. The smell in my house is noticeable. I have neighbours both sides and we are connected. I can’t put the extractor fan up through the roof space as I have neighbours. I can’t change the gap in the wall to the outside world.

I don’t remember but been so smelly 😂 🤷. I have made loads of upgrades in the last 12 months. Larger tent bigger and quieter fan new, and carbon filter this grow.

In the tent I have 2 fans. I should have 3 I had a black fly issue at the start of the grow so I didn’t put anything new in. I have put a second carbon filter and extractor fan in the tent today. The fan is sitting on the filter just cleaning the air.

Could this fix be enough for now and long term?

Any pointers for long term solutions?

If temps go above 73 you will notice some smells and that is the flowers medicine evaporating into the air.

The smell is terpines evaporating. Different terpines volatitize at different temps. Running your lights when your neighbors are not home might help too.

You can put a pre filter and a post filter.

suck in threw one blow out threw the other.

Limit time tent is open. Keeping the smell sealed with carbon filter exhaust. Need a negative pressure in the tent, your tent walls should suck inward. Anything open or a positive pressure forcing air out will leak smell.
