Reaching out to the community on autoflower taste.

I have harvested 4 different auto strains this month. All grew out nice, dried and cured in terploc bags. My issue is one of the strains tastes like fruit punch with gas, when i smoke it, its very smooth and tastes like fruit punch(good). Then as you keep smoking the joint, it starts to taste like tar/tobacco. If I put out the joint 1/2 way though smoking it, and throw it in a jar. 10mins later, open jar and give a smell, it smells like a cigarette, and not like fruit punch/gas/weed. Why would this happen? –>Does this happen to your autoflowers? –>Does this happen to your photoperiods?- I have 4 photos and 2 autos growing outdoors this month and will be able to finally compare/check the differences between autos/photos after harvest.

What papers are you using? I recently bought some cheap papers that would do that same thing. First few hits were good then it would remind me smoking a cigarette. I haven’t smoked cigarettes in 8 plus year’s. Even after putting it in my bong the weed still tasted like cigarettes

I got hold of some “white widow ” auto seeds one time I could swear was crossed with cigarette tobacco. Tobacco being the dominant trait lol. Haven’t experienced again. It was crazy!

I’ve never had this experience from autos. I always have one or two going in my cycles. Ive definitely messed up and had a qp of hay smoke but never a tobacco terp. It stands to reason that some terp out there would smell and taste of tobacco . If you can get candy flavors through something raunchy. I’m pretty sure tobacco can be achieved.

Yeah terpenes like beta-caryophyllene, myrcene and linalool can produce tobacco-like aromas. Especially if they’re combined.
