Any suggestions DGC. Saturdays show should get us all thinking. Seen ohigrow just got lucky. That was a close one. Inspect your cords. FEEL the ends. I never want to feel heat in my ends. If I’m running a hammer drill for an hour I expect the plug might heat up but I’m there at the time. I don’t want plugs to heat up on a grow when I’m away hours or days at a time. How does the DGC keep their grow cool until they are actually ready to spark it up?

All of the electrical connections are in plain view nothing is hidden. As well as the controller for my lights has a temperature threshold that I can set. Also since I’m constantly in there putzing around I’m checking things. A little more now 😳. Maybe we could set up a “Safety Meeting” regularly to remind all of us to check our stuff thoroughly?

Pre-operation inspections. That’s what’s good about doing construction, we constantly look at the condition of our tools everyday. Yeah things come out of nowhere sometimes but daily/weekly inspections are necessary. We do shift inspections. Every shift everything get the check list.

Bent wires from being pressed against too long you’ll start arcing cords eventually or too much into 1 plug. OSHA has nothing on MSHA mine inspections.
