SasquatchParticipantDecember 31, 2024 at 4:40 pmSo I have been taking advantage of my plant. Here to admit it now. As a new grower, I don’t have everything I need for a successful grow but I have my first grow almost ready.
This grow was only light and water with nutrients in a 2×2 tent.
No fan, no vents, nothing special at all
Been wondering my GSC Auto is taking so long to harvest. It’s at 15 weeks now. She was supposed to be ready at 9-10 weeks. Well today it finally made sense….
Got my first temp/humidity meter today…..
Opened the tent to fresh air and turned on a fan and she perked up crazy fast!
Buds are thickening already just by CIRCULATING THE AIR!
Huh…..never made the connection. Thanks Mr. Obvious, you’re a lifesaver!

Funny you say that….I am re-visiting some @scottyreal videos on PPFD and VPD. That cheap light I got can’t be strong enough without intensity adjusting.

What made it all click for me was reading the pulse grow guide and getting the VPD chart calculator. Mostly the calculator because all the charts you see online are in F and I need C to have it make sense. Otherwise its just some correlation of data that doesn’t make sense because what is 70F? I have no idea, I can’t reference it in my brain, its just a number that is meaningless to me, But 26C means something.
Ahhh being Canadian in what seems like a largely American field LOL

Welcome to the joys of growing your own buds, the learning never ends.

you got lucky, Without proper airflow, the cool and warm air don’t mix, so at around 12 inches below the LED light, the temperature would be about 85°F with 60% humidity—an ideal environment. This is great because you don’t have a dense, full canopy of leaves, so airflow isn’t as crucial.

Looks good but I would try to get that humidity down during flowering. Could mean problems in the future.

I’m glad you got that sorted out. That is a wicked big plant. She’s beautiful brother. Treat her the way she deserves and she’s gonna be good to you.
best of luck!
