Grow mistake

While setting up my new grow tent, I measured the PPFD emitting from my 150 watt lights. There are 2 in my 3X5. One light is a year older than the other so I check them both. I measured the first light and adjusted it to 400 PPFD at the level my seedling would be at once transplanted. I measured the other and it was also adjusted. FAIL…I should have checked again with both lights on. I didn’t consider the overlap of the lights. Now I was closer to 600 PPFD. Lesson learned, even someone as OCD as me can screw up. LMAO

I have two 100w SF1000 and side lighting in my 3×3. The two separate lights are enough to run three plants with a tower fan taking up one corner. I ran into the same thing and have to compensate. The side lighting is only used during flower for lower growth.

I like the two separate lights when one grows taller than the other. I guess if there is such a thing I’d be a Micro craft grower. Small pampered plants.
