Grow Update Part Duex, a Minor Tragedy
Hey ya’ll! Im pretty bad at the social media thing, so I forgot to come and do an update when the tent arrived.
The grow has been going very well, despite a little tragedy. I got about 9 great clones off her that seemed to be staying very strong. However I think that I waited too long, because by day three they all had started to aggressively flower despite being under soft 18 hour lights, by day 12 they still hadn’t rooted and were basically wilted to the stems.
So no clones off a plant that has been a joy to grow her entire life. That’s pretty sad but I’ll be ordering more of the strain at some point for sure.
The plant herself though has been amazing. Strong, thick stems and she’s smelled like crazy since she was 3 weeks old. We’re in day 18 of flower right now and if I didn’t have her in a tent with a carbon filter my entire house would be smelling already. The stretch has already slowed and the buds are starting to speed up growth. They’re visibly larger and stacked closer together every day. That’s actually been the most fun part of this grow honestly is that it been such a fast grower it feels like you can almost watch it happen in real time.
Anywho, on to some pics:
Went into the tent 18 days ago for flower. Shes in a 2 gal of Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Currently taking 1/2 Gal of water a day, with 3 tsp Fox Farm Big Bloom and 1 tsp Grow Big mixed in every other day. Im really glad I didnt plan to do more than one plant at a time because she fills this 2×2 out pretty well all by herself. All I did was a single topping, and some LST early on, which I when in about 2 weeks ago and did a refresh on when I did the lolipop. To further spread things out a little and also to give the stems more room to thicken up. Other than that its been an extremely low maintenance plant to grow so far.

Try revegging after harvest?

I had considered doing the reveg as I’ve seen others have success there. I’ve never done that before though and she’s in kind of a small pot because I had planned to just grow it out once and chop.
I have a couple seeds of some other strains I got as freebies that im curious about so I think im just gonna pop one of those next week. They have a similar flowering time so I think about the time the new plant is ready for flower this one will be ready to go into jars.
