Indoor grow smell

If you smoke it, grow it or just love the way the light bounces off the pastels in the morning. The smell of skunk is pleasingly nice. But to some, it’s nasty and/or they are allergic to the smell. Yep, that’s my wife. The same girl, who 25 years ago, I filled her with the bro science and shotgun hits till I had her hardened off. Even started 1 of the 1st mom & pop delivery business. Got a house, grew our own and made deliveries.

Then 2010 total system crash and after that she’s allergic to the smell.

Now I still live with my better half but I live outside so I can smoke as I please. But I have developed a disease. It’s called youtube. Seems like I watch this shit, my brain says, I can do that 😃 totally forgetting I’m disabled. Oww, the mistakes I’ve made lol got to laugh at yourself 😅

Yeah, well I feel like I’m doing it again. And I need the advanced growers of the DGC to tell me…

Is it impossible to totally filter and scrub the skunk smell away?

Can I grow indoors, in tents, with zero smell? Is it possible?!!

    I got to know

Charcoal filter. Dude I smoke in my tent just to make sure my filter still works when I set it up in my basement. I’m running the 4” inline and filter in a 4x4set on 1 just to keep my humidity at 60% at 78 degrees

I can’t smoke in the house and I smell of roaches of half burned bowls, I hear about it.

I past i had charcoal filters going, no air scrubbers though. But always could still smell the weed. Can’t remember if it was the grow, the stash, or just me. Seemed to always smell the dank.

If my grow smell can’t be contained, she will just shut me down.

    Need input 😪 😫 😩

    that´s a tough one to figure out…

    you grow…

    so no…

    chance o´…

    smell zero…

developin the perfect “system” might help out.

something like, always wearing seperate clothes between house and grow. find something that neutralizes “roachbowl” smell… whatever smells better than what`s smelling bad… …wash/clean hands and mouth or, god beware your hair, after every smelly contact… oof…

    or finding a compromise…

    …accepting or adapting

    good luck

The trick is it all stays outside. Little lotion on hands when walking in house. Lol

I live in a red state. I also live in an elderly/disabled community. Smell is NOT an option! I have a 2×4 tent with a 6″ AC Infinity carbon filter. I have no smell until I open my tent. I only open my tent after lighting an incense cone, in the wee hours of the morning after the dankness pops up. Also it helps to limit volatilization by keeping your grow as cool as possible, around 70 or less.

Good thing it’s not the real skunk from the 80’s. You’d be divorced by now!😂

Yes! I use an AC INFINITY 8″ fan and filter combo with their Controller 69 Pro and I have ZERO odor during my grow. However, at harvest I take the fan / filter down and let it run in my lung room while drying in my 5×5 tent with flaps open to let air In and out gently. I don’t leave it in the pot filled tent because it’s so powerful it would suck too much air flow through the hanging buds leading to a too fast dry. As a result of all this I have only the tiniest odor for a couple of days but it’s truly minimal. I would imagine there would be zero smell were you to leave the filter and fan inside but I’m also convinced the vortex of air pulling through the hanging buds would over dry the product. I hope all of this helps – good luck!
