Wondering if this is normal senescence or is something wrong? I did let her dry out for a week without watering and may have went too long maybe?

It’s such a small tent for her, she stretched a lot on me, so I’ve tied her off to pull her away from the light as much as possible. At this point I’m almost ready to say screw it and go lights out. LOL

Lol… no shit.. I had a moma and 2 clones in 1 3×3 just with the little 150w that cam with it and got the bright ass idea to add 2 bar lights I had to the sides and 2nd day in the tent middle of flower l1 of the bar lights got sideways and was on 1 of the clones and burnt her slam up. I was so upset cause I got in a hurry and could have did a better job hanging them or just left them alone cause they was just fine.

Senescence or ripening occurs near the end of the plant’s life cycle by increasing it’s ethylene levels. Ethylene is a hormone that blocks the production of chlorophyll allowing for other pigments like flavonoids and carotenoids to show.

So I should just keep watching her for the trichomes to finish turning and I’ll be good?

Trichomes form on calyx (bud). Calyx go from a tiny oval shape to a large swollen false seed pod. Those calyx during ripening can swell to a plump round shape full of trichomes. Cut the plant when the calyx are barely visible and they’ll shrink to nothing after harvest and your bud will be all stigma and no bud. The stigma (hairs) that collect pollen should remain viable until the calyx start to swell. If the stigma turn brown before the calyx swells, the bud swelling will be stunted and stall. I see a bunch of stigma turned already with no swollen calyx. This can happen when you hurt or stall a plant. You really hurt this one by not watering it. Now what’s done is done.
