This three week old Granddaddy Purple auto is ready for a light top dressing of general purpose worm castings and a few cups of soil. I give autos one feeding at this point when they are getting into their veg growth spurt. It will get another feeding at week seven of fish bone meal and castings. Also gets Recharge and Stash Blend and some NPK at the end.

This grow routine for autos has been easy and works every time. Fill a three or five gallon with amended soil and top dress twice. Photos get one feeding in veg and three in flower which also has worked trouble free. I use COM and based the schedule around strain specifics and their feed charts. Basically dividing autos into threes around their growth cycle.

I topped this one two days ago and it handled it well. I only do one topping on autos. My routine works so please no suggestions to add or change anything. If my process ever lets me down I will ask for help.

The plastic behind the plant is a watering shield I use to block overspray.

The rock is one of my wife’s esoteric stones that is said to help plant growth. I don’t buy into her foo foo stuff like stones but keeping one next to every plant. I started doing that my first run when every plant did well and of course to make my wife feel like she has a stake in my gardens.
