Is this what I think it is? Never had it before but I have been struggling with night time humidity. Its been unusually rainy here for the dead of winter. However there’s nothing growing outside so it would have hard for me to bring anything in.

I can afford to lose that plat all together. Should I just remove it or should I try to remediate the mildew?

Just remove the affected leaves and spray her down with Lost Coast Plant Therapy. PM is an easy fix it addressed early. No reason to toss her.

    Good luck.

I was wondering cause everyone makes it out to be a death sentence but I think with mitigation and quick response to onset it shouldn’t be that bad, am I right?

If you catch it early enough, and it looks like you did, you can usually just carefully remove the affected leaves. I suggest you spray the remaining leaves with a water/milk mixture, to prevent any spores from spreading that could have fallen off the already affected leaves. Also I would get another fan or two, to get the air circulation way up in there. You can avoid most issues with PM by having plenty of airflow around the plants, especially whenever the humidity gets too high.

Of course hydro store is closed on new years day. Ha. I will try to save it. This literally popped up overnight. I was doing some defoliation yesterday and definitely would have seen it. However I’ve been struggling with night time humidity the last couple of weeks. Lots of unseasonable rain and warmer winter temps. VPD was as low as .68 at night about a week ago before I fired up the dehumidifier. Meantime I just foliar spayed with diluted H2O2.

I feel ya… those swings can be tricky to avoid… Usually when you see PM like that, it’s from leaves laying on top of each other overnight when the swing occurs… It’s nothing too major. You’ll get her back to right quick ✌️
