Hey Josh I’m from SW Virginia too. Actually lived all the way west in Lee County. The best cannabis i have ever smoked was grown in that area Lee County Virginia Hawkins County Tennessee and Harlen County Kentucky the real emerald triangle. But now I live at the gates to hell in Hagerstown Maryland. A real Ying yang.

I’m in Stafford VA and I’ve gone to the NCF in DC and I had a good time. I actually got 3rd place in VA for Raspberry Parfait by HSC. I think there’s another grow off with a grow shop in Staunton, don’t take my word on that though. I remember a grow shop in Richmond had a solo cup grow off too last yeat or 2 years ago. I’m going to compete and go to this year’s NCF in DC. Tickets were $75 a day, but I don’t know if they’re still that low. Entry fee covers tickets and early access last year. Wu Tang performed last year which was a big reason I even attended and competed, but it was definitely worth it and I had a blast.

How was the NCF? I considered it but I thought the crowd would be way younger.

I had a good time. It was 420 weekend last year and Friday was cold and rainy. The cup was on Friday and the wutang concert was Saturday. The demographic was all over but mostly mid 20s to mid 30s.
