5 months agoAsk a Grow Question Hey team: Im looking for a new light to fill a 5×5 tent…any suggestions from the crew? I dont need/want a commercial level light. I need something that runs cool and is efficient. The migrow youtube has a few videos on this but looking for personal suggestions. Thanks!

I’m having success with an Aglex 800. I moved the transformers outside using their cable kit and it plays well with the AC Infinity Controller. I run a studio and have friends in film with real deal light meters that grow too and they are amazed that this thing is hitting the numbers listed in their sheet. Sale on it right now too.

@a-a-ron since moving the power “outdoors” it’s been kick ass. I was seeing 88-90° in the top half and have brought that down to 78° on average. The bar unit itself is still warm to touch but a static fan blowing across seems to help immensely.

I use Mars hydro FC8000 in my 5×5. It’s overkill, but I love it. I grow awesome buds.
