Anyway i used to do the seed In paper towel method and drop that into a solo cup and wait to see it pop up then transplant into 2 or 3 gal then into its final flowering pot. Never finished in anything less then 7 gals. Now days I’m over doing all that, buying mycos to sprinkle on the root ball to help through transplant shock and all waiting for it too look like she’s rebounded nicely and then flipping to flower. Geez just seemed like a waste of time and $ on different sized pots soils dry amendments and mycos.
Now days I’m putting 3 #10 wide or #15 tall pots in my 2×4 and popping the seed right into the medium with a clear solo cup or 4″ dome over it to retain moisture in the medium to germinate my seeds. Usually 3-4 days she pops up. First watering I just use bottled water, after I see her up and she’s due for water hit her with a recharge solution.
I love this method because your not going to end up root bound if you don’t get to transplanting at a good time and stunting growth or waiting for her to rebound after a trans plant. 3- # 15 tall narrow pots in my 2×4.

LED and a radiant heater, you might be able to get away with using the led and it’s driver as daytime heat source and have the heater on opposite timer settings to only kick on at night or lights out hours. You can probably find a used led at your local hydro shop or online that still has good life. Just seen on offer up a guy has 4 chilled led growcraft x6 for sale for $180 each. I believe they are normally in the $700 + range.

Keeping everything sealed up and only exhausting the tent when humidity levels creep up, to keep me in the right vpd range. A 20 gal tank will last me a little over 2 months and my local hydro store only charges $12 for a tank refill or swap. Your plants can handle the higher temps with higher co2 levels and more light. Driving that dragster 👍

If your photos are within 2 weeks of finishing when you want to move the autos in you could go rasta jeff with it and put them back on 18/6 schedule.

MemberSeptember 22, 2024 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Adding Carbon Dioxide to my tents.Basically I guess. First couple grows I tried indoors just came out super airy fluffy, spaced out trichs, clones of same stuff I would run in my backyard. Tried turning up my light and would end up burning the plants. Eventually invested in a pulse pro for the light meter and noticed the co2 monitor would go down to 200 ppm sometime lower. Burning plants under hlg 300l r spec at only 600 ppfd. So after adding co2 I instantly noticed how fast the plants would grow in their first 2 weeks after putting them in the flower tent but still on a veg light cycle to fill out the tent. I’d match the light ppfd to the co2 ppms and every week keep dialing it up, starting at 400 and by mid flower running 1000 ppfd and usually would add a bit mor co2 by this time 12-1400 ppm. The buds fatten up way better then before and packed with trichs. I have 4 tents in a framed insulated, drywalled sealed 14×14 shed on my property and that’s why my co2 levels would drop so drastically before, I didn’t have any intake fans or vents I sealed everything up to control the room with a through wall 230v ac and a basement dehumidifier, keeping the room at 70°f and 35rh. I’ve only been doing this indoors for 2 years now, I’m definitely not the best at it and I’m sure I can improve somewhere. That’s why this place is awesome we’re always learning. Oh yes and on average I’m getting 1 lb or just under from 2 plants each harvest. Thanks
