Has anyone ever done a degrading light hour durning flower to mimic actual sunlight hours? For example Oregon get an Avg dayblight hour of, 15.5 hr in june, 15.5 hrs- 14.5 hrs July, 14.5hrs – 13.25 hrs August, 13.25 – 11.45 September, 11.45 hrs to 10hrs October (harvest)
So my idea was to start at 14 hrs for the first week and dropping by 15mins a week until harvest. Has anyone done this before. I think more light early will help in that early rapid growth pop when you go into flower. Thought’s?
chewy4 and Sasquatch-
Maybe would slow onset of flower. The little experience I have growing outside seems like flower didn’t really start till August. Sadly in Maryland plant count is very limited but there are so many side by side tests I would like to do

If I’m honest, it sounds like an opportunity to make mistakes. To commit yourself to that sort of constant Time setting, and monitoring.… One thing I’ve learned through all my years of farming Anything, the only thing you can do to speed things up is start sooner. One thing about marijuana, everyone has been trying to find the fastest way to get this illegal expensive crop out of their house and sold fast as possible. 12-12. Works. It is what it is. What you can do, when you get seeds, plant them. If you need clones, Take them. If you want something, stand up and take it.
