PH Lockout (should I flower or not?)
I’m growing from clones in rockwool hydroponic system. Recently my PH pen died shortly after moving my clones into the bloom room. By the time I figured out what was going on and replaced the faulty tester, the canopy began to turn yellow. Other than the color of the leaves, the plants look good. I usually…

Your plants look like mine. Don’t toss em as they will bounce back. My plants looked like this in early flowrr but ended up producing some cery sticky flowers.

I agree with @jason2jackson , don’t throw them out. It may take about 12-14 days to get their pH back in balance. But then you should be good for flower. I have had the same issue with a commercial grow, and we got the plants back to full health before flower. Stay safe and lifted 🤙💚

Give em some foliar love and some powdered kelp maybe and they’ll come back. Just went thru the same thing. And get some test drops as a backup so you can cross reference occasionally.

I’ve been using Canna products for many years with great success. My question is about there product called PK 13/14. The instructions say that you should only use it for a maximum of one week. This does not specify if it’s for hydro or soil applications. If it were soil then I imagine the extra p and k would be present after the one week…

My best advice would be to read your plants. Less is more for me. Unless there is a deficiency

I ran the PK 13/14 for the first time with this grow. Things are looking great! I’m using 100% canna coco which is what their nutes are designed for (per the rep at DGC). It’s my understanding that coco behaves more like hydro than soil. Your approach of running for a week and then changing the reservoir seems right to me.

There is no one size fits all product for cannabis with such variety. PK boosts from any company may be used for multiple weeks starting at a lower rate. It is very plant dependent on how much and when. Generally you can use bloom boosters for 1-3 weeks around peak bloom. Total flowering time determines how much of a PK boost the plant can…

I’m in week 6 of flower and everything is going well. I just notices that my timer malfunctioned last night and the light stayed on for 20 hours. Will this have an effect on the flowering plants? Should I leave the lights off for a while before going back to 12/12? I’m not so worried, but was wondering what others think.

I’d immediately go back to the 12/12 but there’s a good chance you might get a Hermie, watch for bananas on your flowers

No issues. Confirm your timer is working and move on.
