Here me out, reduce your lighting intensity and it will darken back up in a couple of days.

I used to see that a lot when popping large numbers of seeds in soil back in the day (before there was online help). I figured out overtime that it was just the nutrients in the soil being too hot for babies…

It pains me to say that if I can’t get it on Amazon I won’t be getting it. I have played the wait game from all the popular brands and am currently waiting on spider famer. Though, back in the day of the Mars II , Mars hydro was faster than amazon.🤷🏼‍♂️

Okay the spider farmer “Vanity” tent/display that inspired this is basically never going to arrive due to spider farmers in ability to fill orders in a timely manner even though I was told my order was filled in the first run. I don’t really want it anyway, as its cheap quality and a bit cheesy, so that’s the last I will speak on that.

I have everything to build out the 2×4 tent, the plan is to add three lighted shelves, each with 150watt of led light 3x50w shop tubes. The Idea is to have the bottom space for mom sized plants, the middle for a 36-site cloner and some taller vegging clones. The top shelf will be for smaller rooted clones.

I have had setups like this before but had to let go of it and frankly a lot of gear, when moving halfway across the country.

It blows my mind that this type of setup isn’t a commercially available package, or that no one seems to have featured anything like it in their grow journals. This type of space management is the lynchpin of a home perpetual grow.

I have to go see a man about a mule, but I will bang this tent out later on and post some images for clarification.

    It gets better…

If you ask me, I think Mars, AC Infinity, Spiderfarmer and Vivosun are the same as far as customer support goes.

Ac Infinity seems to have the better gear as they actually have an R&D budget, Mars is a good second and Vivosun is Temu grade trash. Spider farmer has decent gear, but I’ve seen lots of damaged shipments that they seem to think isn’t their problem to deal with.

As far as tent size goes, I would split the difference and go for a 3×3 You get an extra square foot of space over a 2×4 and a 2×2 will most likely lead to you wishing you went larger at some point.

If you’re PHing your solution, are feeding at label strength and a couple of flushes hasn’t done anything, I’m going to say it’s probably your light intensity, if you create photosynthates faster than the plant can uptake and store nutrients then you get what looks like classic lockout.

Best way to rule out pH is leave some solution out for about 48 hours, and then test again to see if the pH has walked.

As far as the light goes, at least 90% of us are using too much light. I know it seems counterintuitive to turn the lights down, especially if you’ve been in this game for a long time. The bottom line is we have much more efficient technology, a modern $50 LED light is as much as five times more efficient than the HID equivalent you’d be using 20 years ago..

Revenging is easy, it may take a while, but if you have room it’s more effective than cloning a flower then revenging.

Just leave one Bud on one branch (like pictured) and put it back in your veg tent. If you want to accelerate things repot the plant so you can have a boost of root growth which will speed up the process.

Unless you’re sourcing your water from a pool, you’ll never have to worry about chlorine . Just altering, the pH of the water will cause the chlorine to convert to undetectable levels.

Municipal water levels of chlorine are minuscule compared to pool or spa levels. in many cases, you can knock the chlorine out of suspension just by putting your hand in the water.

Good point, you can return about anything to the big-box stores if it ends up not being sturdy enough.

I tend to go for metal where I can as even the small amount of Uv that a grow light put off will make quick work of plastic.

    That and early veg.

That where the Idea to just put shelves in a 2×4 came into play.
