2 months agoAsk a Grow Question 2 months agoNew to the indoor tent grow scene. I’m looking for recommendations for a pen or meter to accurately measure ppm dissolved solids and also read ph in soil and water.

I used blue lab but tbh I started using recharge over 2 years ago and I grow with coco coir and use canna coco nutrients haven’t worried about ph since the recharge and I only use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon nutrients mix once a week saves so much time and effort recharge is my go to plant doctor lol seriously I recommend giving it a try

Also, you could send a sample of your well water to get tested. Then you know what’s in there for sure.

I totally didn’t realize the size of the grow community till the last few months. As a Bible belt resident whose been clean for 30yrs, I was a little worried about logging onto similar topic websites. I started watching dgs videos and am hooked. New here, stuck in the Bible belt “SC”. I luck up and catch YouTube live on occasion. Have watched tons of past shows. Trying to put together a first indoor grow, starting small and learning! I am a past outdoor gorilla grower that would start 3-400, full veg 2-250, and grow out to finish 1-150 depending on male to female outcome each year.… Read more

Welcome… These plants are definitely different than growing back in the day.. you’ll have to find a genetic you care for first than grow it out a few times to see how she grows to its potential … that’s how I ended up here a couple years ago , I guess the first thing I learned was not all genetics like the lights on full power …

Yes in my opinion they’re better they oscillate side to side and up and down put it on the floor of the tent and they fan the underside of the canopy moving a lot of air. I use a standard oscillating fan on top
