What the hell… he’s not on here!🤣 I was raised down in Alabama and pops half of the family instilled within me a deep respect for smoked shank in beans, smoked hocks in mustard greens and cracklins in white meal pone bread that doesn’t even think about having sugar in it!
Thats also why I weighed 350#!😉
I still do the beans and greens but with smoked turkey tails and I add chicken bullion and a dot of liquid smoke to greens when they’re cookin all afternoon. At least there’s some kind of fat and flavor!🤘🏼🤣🤘🏼

@casadelwhacko I lived in Alabama and Georgia for 10yrs when I left California in 2008. I was fine with most except collards, gizzards and grits lol. Grits I started liking with plenty of butter, sugar and pepper
