Just watched the “Stop Veging Punk!” episode and loved all the insight! I grow dutch table style a lot now and y’all were pretty much describing my system. First time I grow a strain, I blast three weeks of veg from seed and let’em buck. I get an idea of the plant and then I pop two or three and take clones from them all and as soon as I see a wee bit of new growth, I plop them into one gallon panda bags and flip. I keep a few aside as moms and hunt in small groups. OG Kush, Orange Skunk and Blueberry gets about 30″ tall and consistently produces an ounce and a half with less trim hell and easy turnaround. I can cram 12 in a 3×3 using a drip system and they just cruise under 400 watts
I “could” run 24 per tub (x2) in my flood setup and have a micro forrest every 90 days or so, but plant count forbids it. 😭
Id love to see a detailed flow chart/timeline laid out to grow from seed in the style and I’d even take part in a challenge or “data collection grow” with a few folks that have the space and time to play around with this. Kinda like assignments from Tyler for Project:Mayhem! 🤘🏼🤣🤘🏼
Video and documentation would be a valuable asset. Great community building exercise too!

Most plants that flower in 70+ days can be pruned and shaped through the transition with no veg indoors.

@jmystro What was that strain you mentioned at the DGC cup? Raw Genetics, I believe.

@Casadelwhacko That’s a pheno of the Lemon Cherry Pie (Lemon Cherry Gelato x Georgia Pie). Not a producer at all. 2 month veg might get you 4 oz. Sigh. The things we do for love. A Pineapple Upside Down Cake pheno I found needs no veg. She basically has 6 weeks of transition with about 4 weeks of filling in that creates monster colas in about 70 days. I had a 70 day Martian Mean Green pheno that had about 5 weeks of transitional growth and 5 weeks of flower development.

@jmystro I chose their Stuffed Cherry Gelato in the last seed giveaway and I’m stoked to try their genetics for sure! Lots of OG Kush and Grape God (Easiest cloning plant I’ve ever touched) at the moment. Still hunting that good good green!
