So I figured out how I can use an open port on the Controller 69 as a fertigation timer finally. Maybe this will help someone else.
Plug a UIS Outlet into the open port and then set it to cycle on for ten and off for fifty minutes, for example, and then plug a suitable mechanical timer into it the UIS Outlet and set it to mirror your light schedule with at least a two hour offset for lights on and off. Plug your pump into the mechanical timer and then you only cycle irrigation during the optimum times and allow for better dryback time while the ladies slumber.
I have a few extra UIS outlets, four port expansion plug things and another, currently idle, 69 and have been playing with them in differnt configurations to use them unconventionally… like I do with most stuff!🤣
Still messing with the Arduino thing but my highschool senior/electronics department director has a really heavy workload at school currently, so development has slowed to a crawl…😏
